Descripción del curso

This German B2 course expands your German skills to levels B2.1 and B2.2. You learn to read, listen to, speak, and write the German language with fluency, as well as to express yourself clearly and coherently in your private and professional life. These newly acquired skills will help you to start and guide spontaneous conversations. You’ll also be able to understand and write a variety of challenging text types without too much effort. You need to show you have these B2-level German skills to extend your residence permit or apply for citizenship after 6 years of residence. We support your learning through our LcL Language Lab, which we ourselves designed and automated to take you through listening and speaking exercises while you’re guided by a skilled instructor.

- Use German independently in real and abstract language contexts

- Learn to use correct grammar and form connected sentences about daily life and your area of expertise

- Participate in discussions about your field, explain your opinions and vision clearly

- Develop the ability to initiate and continue conversations, as well as to correct yourself

- Write complex and detailed contributions to texts about select topics

- Study Phonetics in the LcL Language Lab

In one of the most beautiful streets of the 7th district in Vienna.

The top renovated rooms of our old Viennese Biedermeier house from 1695 offer a comfortable and modern atmosphere to help you focus on your learning. Our offices contain five classrooms, each about 10 to 25 square meters. Every classroom is furnished with easy-to-move desks and chairs, as well as a cloakroom. On sunny days, our picturesque courtyard is also available for lessons outside. Our language institute is on the ground floor. The building itself is under monument protection, it is one of the oldest houses of Vienna. Right around the corner from the school, you will find numerous cafés, restaurants and bars as well as museums, theaters and cinemas.

Underground: U3 (Volkstheater or Neubaugasse), starting Autumn 2023: U2 and U3 (Volkstheater or Neubaugasse)
Buses: 48A (St Ulrichs Platz or Kellermanngasse) or 13A (Neubaugasse/Westbahnstraße or Burggasse/Neubaugasse)

If you're traveling by car, the Contipark Garage Museumsquartier or the Payuca Garage Kirchberggasse are available for a parking fee.

The stops and parking garages listed above are at most a five-minute walk from our facilities.

"Nice but not completely satisfying"

It was very intensive course, thanks to which i learned a lot. Teacher was very patient and helpful. It was crazy for me to get to know people from all over the world and work with them. You can see the school is new, you can feel the breath of freshness. Class to practice pronunciation is a super experience. I'm thinking about starting the next course, this time a level up.

"I had a good experience and improved my language skills during my time there."

The location is practical and accessible. The facilities are new and some are still being renovated/improved. Some equipment such as headphones and microphones were not fully set up and were used on the last day of class. The instructor was really good, spoke clearly and explained things well. The setup of the classes was good. Ideally, it would be great to switch up class activities and make them a bit more dynamic so that it’s not as repetitive over time (such as creating dialogues or conversations). The staff is friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that they provided us with water for every class. Overall I had a very good experience. While there are things still being set up or renovated, I think this institute already has great potential for being a good resource for language learning.
